Conditions of Hire

DEPOSIT: $650 payable within 7 days to confirm booking.

FINAL PAYMENT: Due 6 weeks in advance of trip.

SECURITY BOND: $1500 payable on boarding. Refunded by mail, less fuel cost when the boat is returned on time in good order and condition. Damage or loss will be charged for at cost.

CANCELLATIONS: Where late cancellations occur and we cannot re-book the craft for that period, we reserve the right to refund at our discretion.

  • Boarding time is 3.00pm. Disembark by 10.00am.
  • The person responsible for the hire of the craft must present a current boat or car licence.
  • Instruction will be given in handling the craft.
  • The number of persons on board must not exceed the Marine regulations.
    The boat must not be driven at night.
  • No pets, firearms, axes, chainsaws or trailbikes.
  • The owner or manager reserved the right to refuse any person or persons the use of the craft.
  • No smoking inside the houseboat.
